Artlifefortheworld é un’Associazione Culturale che si occupa di eventi nell’ambito dell’arte contemporanea
ed in particolare di arte ambientale.
E’ stata fondata nel 1997 con una sede a Bruxelles dove é stata organizzata la grande mostra "Mediterranea – arte contemporanea
dei paesi del Mediterraneo" per l’Istituto Meda della comunità Europea. In seguito nel 2001 ha trasferito la propria sede a Venezia
di fronte alla splendida facciata della chiesa di Santa Maria dei Miracoli nella zona di San Canciano.
Artlifefortheworld is a Cultural Association dealing with contemporary art events in natural environments.
It was founded in 1997 and at that time it had a seat in Bruxelles where the big exhibition "Mediterranea –
contemporary art in the countries of the Mediterranean area" took place for Meda Institute of
the European Community.
In 2001 Artlifefortheworld moved to Venice and now it is in front of the wonderful front of Miracoli Church in San Canciano.
Artlifefortheworld ha presentato cicli di interventi artistici in vari settori di arte contemporanea con installazioni create
appositamente per lo Spazio Galleria. La linea generale di proposta é quella ambientale e multimediale.
Artlifefortheworld ha collaborato con enti pubblici e con sponsors privati realizzando grandi mostre nell’ambiente,
in particolare progetti d’arte per l’acqua (water art).
Un settore di eventi particolarmente curato da Artlifefortheworld é anche quello della scrittura e delle performances
(ad esempio Fragments). Un altro settore di mostre è stato dedicato alla textile art (mostra evento Aracne - Spazio Artlife e Invito alla Pace di Jagoda Buic,
La Biennale di Arti Visive 2001 - direzione artistica Simonetta Gorreri).
La Galleria dedica un’attenzione particolare alla ricerca delle ultime tendenze delle forme
espressive anche nell’ambito del design e moda (gioielli contemporanei in materiali tecnologici).
Artlifefortheworld has presented cycles of contemporary art events in different fields and installations have been planned on purpose for
the space of the Gallery. Its general art line is a conceptual and multimedia one.
Artlifefortheworld has worked with public institutions and private sponsors for the realization of big exhibitions in the environment in
particular
for water art. Artlifefortheworld has always taken care of a special section of events concerning performances (e.g. Fragments) and writing, or
textile art (Aracne - Artlife Gallery and Invito alla Pace of Jagoda Buic, La Biennale Arti Visive 2001 - Art Director Simonetta Gorreri). Artlifefortheworld Gallery gives particular attention to the research of the last trends
of expression in any kind of forms: from contemporary jewels to all kinds of design and fashion with the use of technological materials.
